Home Template Guidelines

The UMD Terp Templates is the Drupal theme for all UMD Drupal Pantheon based websites. It combines UMD approved elements, functionality, and branding, into one set of resources. These guidelines will share both steps to set up and maintain a Drupal site, as well as best practices for doing so.

Getting Started with the UMD Drupal Templates

The Template guidelines are an extensive resource for learning about and using the UMD Drupal Templates. Use the following Getting Started page to get up and running, with the most necessary information, like requesting a site, signing in for the first time, and an exercise in adding your first new page with content.

Getting Started with Drupal Hosting

Drupal is a content management system which allows you to create and maintain many different types of websites without needing to know any coding languages.

DIT recommends starting with an existing site before migrating into DIT Drupal Hosting environment. If you have any questions on how to get started, please contact DIT.
